OCSA’s Ambassador Jazz Orchestra (AJO), led by Associate Director of the Instrumental Music Conservatory Mr. John Reynolds, has won multiple top honors at jazz festivals, including the notable Reno Family Jazz Festival. In 2022, AJO placed third in the nation out of 15 finalists at the widely renowned Essentially Ellington High School Jazz Band Competition & Festival in New York City. AJO is part of The Garn Family Jazz Studies Program within OCSA’s Instrumental Music Conservatory.
